[PHOTOS] Ruto launches construction of Mfangano Island Ring Roads

Africa-Press – Kenya. President William Ruto on Saturday officially launched the construction of Mfangano Island Ring Road in Suba North Constituency in Homa Bay.

Ruto was accompanied by Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga, Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen and his ICT counterpart Eliud Owalo.

Ruto is on an extensive development tour of opposition chief Raila Odinga’s Luo Nyanza heartland.

The tour which started on Friday in Sondu in Kisumu county will see the President launch a number of development projects in the region.

In his tour in Sondu, Ruto launched the groundbreaking of the Kabonyo Regional Fisheries and Aquaculture Center of Excellence in Nyando.

This is the second major and extensive development tour of the four Luo Nyanza counties since his election last year.

He also attended the homecoming of Gem MP Elisha Ochieng’ among launching other roads projects.
