Africa-Press – Kenya. Kenya Power has announced that some parts of the country will experience power interruptions on Monday.
The power company announced on Sunday that the interruptions will occur at various times of the day in different counties.
According to Kenya Power, counties to be affected by power interruptions include Makueni, Meru, Nyeri and Migori which will experience power interruptions from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
In Makueni, parts of Emali, Ukia including Emali Town, Nduundune, Mulala, Manooni, Kithumani, Muangini, Tuutini, Kikumini, Masumba, Mlolongo, Matiliku, Kyeeko, Kilili, Kalamba, Katulye, Mwaani, Upendo, and adjacent customers will be affected.
In Meru, Kagaene, Kibuline including Njiru, Kunene Dispensary, Kunene, Kimachia, Kagaene, Mbeu Hospital, Kibuline, Mulika Stage, Miomponi areas and adjacent customers will experience power interruptions.
In Nyeri, areas such as Gikororo and Mununga including Gikororo, Kahuru, Ndima T/Fact, Kiaruhiu, Gathaithia, Mathia, Canteen, Gitangaruri, Ndima Kanini, Kahuro TBC, Ndiriti, Kiang’ombe, Gathambi, Muragara, Kanyai TBC, Kiambagathi, Mihuru TBC, Mununga, and adjacent customers will experience interruptions from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Areas in Marua and Kiamuiru including Marua, Githiru Village, Kiamuiru Village, F.K. Resort, Muruguru Girls School, and adjacent customers will also experience interruptions from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
In Migori, areas of Kakrao and Chamkombe including Kakrao, Warisia Secondary, Ugari, Wasio, Rayudhi, Chamkombe, Pinnacle Plaza, Nyasare Primary, Onyalo Primary and Secondary, Injiris, Kimadui, and adjacent customers will experience interruptions from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
