Africa-Press – Kenya. Lawyer Donald Kipkorir has said that Kenyans do not deserve Azimio leader Raila Odinga’s love and sacrifice anymore.
In a statement on Monday, Kipkorir urged Raila not to play part in the opposition.
“Dearest Raila Odinga, tomorrow begins the Presidency of William Ruto. From the depths of my heart, I beseech you to stop crying for us. Don’t look out for Kenya anymore. Your love was unrequited. We didn’t deserve your love and sacrifice. Let’s be with our foibles and chains. Godspeed,” he tweeted.
Kipkorir said that Raila’s love and sacrifices were not paid back.
He said that Kenyans failed to acknowledge Raila’s sacrifices by not voting for him on August 9.
The Azimio leader lost to president-elect William Ruto.
This was his fifth stab in vying for the presidential seat.
Raila and his running mate Martha Karua filed a petition to the Supreme Court challenging Ruto’s win.
However, the Supreme Court upheld Ruto’s win on September 5.
