Africa-Press – Kenya. Kenya teams are all set for the U18 and U20 boys International Handball Federation (IHF) Youth and Junior tournaments in Nairobi.
The prestigious event has attracted eight countries and the matches will take place at Nyayo National Stadium and Ulinzi Sports Complex respectively.
“We are very ready for the tournament. At least we had a good time in training and we hope to retain both trophies,” U18 coach Juma Gerald offered.
He exuded confidence that his charges, drawn from top handball-playing schools, have the ability to perform well in the championship.
According to reports, teams from Uganda and South Sudan are already in the country for the show.
Others expected to grace the show include Burundi, Rwanda Somalia, Ethiopia and host Kenya.
