Africa-Press – Kenya. ODM Raila Odinga is today expected to address the press concerning the four petitions filed to oust the four IEBC commissioners. Raila and his Wiper counterpart Kalonzo Musyoka are currently attending the hearing on the removal of the four commissioners in Parliament.
Vice chair Juliana Cherera alongside Irene Masit, Francis Wanderi and Justus Nyangaya who are targeted for ouster are set to face the committee. Petitioners are also set to appear before the panel.
“Azimio la Umoja Coalition leader Rt. Raila Odinga will hold a press conference today at 12:30,” read the invite from Raila’s secretariat.
The commissioners openly differed with chairman Wafula Chebukati and two other commissioners over the August 9, presidential vote tallying and final results.
