Africa-Press – Kenya. Makadara MP George Aladwa has told Kenya kwanza brigades not to be over-excited while in Government but to focus on serving Kenyans. The lawmaker urged the Kenya Kwanza brigades to stop keeping the country in a political mood citing that politics are over.
“We know you are the government so there is no needs to remind us now and then; focus on delivering your manifesto,” Aladwa said.
The lawmaker was speaking on Monday while attending the funeral service of the late Thomas Isumba in Hamisi Sub County. The late Isumba was the father to former Shamakhokho MCA Douglas Beru.
Aladwa said Kenya kwanza Administration might lose terribly in the 2027 general elections since most of them have lost their focus on serving Kenyans.
“Most of you have lost already. You are busy talking about how you won the elections. It’s okay we are watching the pace and we shall leave you in rude shock,” he cited.
Aladwa says the government has been giving promise after promise but none has been achieved. The lawmaker lauded the hustler fund that was to caution the small business enterprises community but urged the government to increase the stake.
“They promised hustler fund for small business enterprises but Sh500,900 or 1000 isn’t enough for someone to start a business,” he posed. He further said NHIF for the elderly people and the vulnerable ones should be given an upper hand to ease their medical bills in hospitals.
The lawmaker further said the Inua jamii program should not be cut off as it has helped the aged people to sustain their lives without depending on other people to sustain their lives.
