Africa-Press – Kenya. After a two-week rest, the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League returns on Tuesday with some amusing games as the title and relegation race heats up.
All eyes will be on the top two where league leaders Gor Mahia will host Kakamega Homeboyz at the Nyayo Stadium while Tusker FC will be at their Rauaraka backyard taking on Posta Rangers.
Gor sit top of the table with 67 points two better than Tusker with two games remaining to the end of the season. A win for K’Ogalo will boost their chances of winning the title for a record time 20.
Meanwhile, victory for the Brewers will raise their chances of clinching their 12th title but it will be possible if Homeboyz hold Gor.
On the other end of the table, the relegation battle is heating up with only four-point separating Wazito and Mathare United with Vihiga Bullets already relegated.
Mathare are in 17th with 22 points while Wazito have accumulated 24 points after 32 games. The two have dates with Ulinzi and Bidco respectively in a mid-week fixture. The two will face each other on the last day of the season in Muhoroni.
FC Talanta will open the match week against Nairobi City Stars at the Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi with a total of eight games set for Wednesday.
