Africa-Press – Kenya. Over 136 players will grace the Insurance Institute of Kenya Golf tournament slated for Friday at Royal Nairobi Golf Club.
The tournament aims at uniting insurance industry players, stakeholders and friends of the Insurance Institute of Kenya (IIK).
Among the contestants is last year’s extraordinary winner, Ernest Kanja of Gras Savoye Kenya Insurance Brokers, along with CEOs from various insurance firms.
Kanja is confident he will defend his tournament title.
“I’m looking forward to defending the title I won last year. This year’s competition will be tough due to the calibre of players expected but am relishing the challenge and I hope to emerge victorious,” said Kanja.
The Institute director, Alice Njoroge said preparations are complete with the greens in good condition.
“We are ready for the event and we look forward to a successful outing with top golfers from the sector gracing the event,” said Njoroge.
The tournament will conclude with an award-giving dinner to honour the top performers.
