Africa-Press – Kenya. China is increasingly playing a key role in helping African countries navigate the challenges posed by rising U.S. tariffs.
By offering zero-tariff access to 53 African nations, China is boosting exports across multiple sectors, including farming, manufacturing, and technology.
Countries like Cameroon and Ghana view China as a strategic economic partner, while Nigeria anticipates gains in various industries.
Ethiopia is targeting coffee exports to China, Japan, and Saudi Arabia, and overall, China-Africa cooperation is seen as inclusive and coherent.
These efforts enhance Africa’s competitiveness, provide global market access, and help offset economic uncertainties caused by U.S. tariffs.
