Africa-Press – Kenya. The launch of the Hustler Fund is so far President William Ruto’s biggest achievement a survey has said. In the Tifa survey, 29 per cent of Kenyans believe the launch of the Hustler fund was a success.
Some 5 per cent said stabilising the cost of fertiliser was also a success, with 4 per cent saying Ruto had succeeded in enhancing national unity, closing the top three achievements.
While respondents supporting Kenya Kwanza rated the fund at 37 per cent those inclined towards the Azimio side put it at 22 per cent. This is the 2nd Release from Tifa’s first survey of 2023.
The margin of error was +-2.1. It was a household-based (i.e. face-to-face) survey, conducted between March 11-19, with just over 2,065 randomly selected respondents.
The survey also mentioned increased economic hardship, failure to keep campaign promises and increased corruption/dropping of major corruption cases as some of President William Ruto’s failures. They scored 37 per cent, 14 per cent and 9 per cent, respectively.
