Africa-Press – Kenya. KCB bank has committed sh150 million towards supporting the 2023 World Rally Championship (WRC) Safari Rally that is set to take place from June 22-25 in Naivasha.
Drivers Evans Kavisi, Nikhil Sachania and reigning national champion Karan Patel will be sponsored by the bank. This is the third year since the championship returned to Kenya.
It is the seventh event in the 13-round series that started in January at Monte Carlo, France. The 2023 Safari rally is expected to attract over 50 local and international drivers. This year’s event will be flagged off at Uhuru Park by president William Ruto, with the routes and stages largely unchanged.
