The aim of the agreement is to bolster global preparedness and equitable response to future pandemics, while respecting national sovereignty.
A resolution was passed to reinforce health financing globally, emphasising the advancement of universal health coverage through people-centred primary health care.
Member States endorsed enhanced commitments to address antimicrobial resistance.
