Africa-Press – Kenya. Governor Kenneth Lusaka has asked new officers in his administration to discharge their duties in line with the Constitution and Bungoma’s transformation agenda.

He spoke on Thursday when he presided over the swearing-in of Gender executive Agnes Naliaka and chief officers Nicholas Kiboi (education and vocational training), Beatrice Nakhumicha (cooperatives) and Magrima Mayama (health and sanitation).

“I expect you to acquaint yourselves with your respective departments in the shortest time possible,” Lusaka said.

“I have picked people who have a clean track record and people who have served this country to help me deliver on the promises I pledged during campaigns.”

Bungoma Deputy Governor Jenipher Mbatiany asked the county officers to support Governor Lusaka’s administration.

“It is my humble request that we execute our roles diligently,” Mbatiany said.
