Africa-Press – Kenya. Manchester City on Saturday beat Crystal Palace 5-2 at home in an English Premier League week 32 match after trailing 2-0.

The visitors took the lead with Eberechi Eze’s goal in the 8th minute before Chris Richards made it 2-0 for Crystal Palace in the 21st minute at Etihad Stadium.

City’s veteran Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne sparked the comeback flame for the hosts with his goal in the 33rd minute, and just three minutes later Omar Marmoush equalized for his team and the first half ended in a 2-2 draw.

Pep Guardiola’s men didn’t let up in the second half and Mateo Kovacic evaluated De Bruyne’s pass well in the 47th minute to put Manchester City up 3-2.

The Sky Blues made it 4-2 with James McAtee’s goal in the 56th minute and won the match 5-2 with Nico O’Reilly finding the net in the 79th minute.

With the match, Manchester City moved up to the number four spot in the Premier League with 55 points, while Crystal Palace are trailing at number 11 with 43 points.
