Africa-Press – Kenya. Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria and Raila Odinga Junior joined President Uhuru Kenyatta in Dubai, at a high-level Kenya-United Arab Emirates (UAE) business forum which commenced on Tuesday, February 15.

Kuria and Raila Junior, the son of the former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, posed for photos with the duo grateful for meeting each other overseas.

“It is good to bump into my brother, Moses Kuria in Dubai, and I am happy to witness his recovery.

“I have asked him to join the winning team Azimio, so that we move Kenya forward together (tupeleke Kenya mbele pamoja),” wrote Odinga Junior.

Kuria has been in Dubai for nearly three months where he received treatment after injuring his legs with an electric blanket. The MP underwent stem cell surgery which enabled him to walk for the first time in 137 days.

The MP revealed that he would be on the sidelines of the forum through which Kenya is expected to strengthen business ties with the Gulf state. Uhuru was accompanied by officials from the Kenya business community and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

On February 14, Uhuru flew to Dubai for the three-day official visit. The Head of State will also officially open the Kenya-UAE business forum before having a sit down with UAE leadership.

“It is expected that the Kenyan business representatives will engage and strike business deals with their UAE counterparts and other participating countries.

“The purpose of the President coming here is to showcase business and investment opportunities that are available in Kenya. And there are quite a number of them mostly in the investment areas,” Kenya’s Ambassador to the UAE Kariuki Mugwe stated.

Former Kiambu Governor and Tujibebe Wakenya Party leader, William Kabogo was also spotted in Dubai.

Other notable leaders included Health Cabinet Secretary (CS), Mutahi Kagwe, his Agriculture counterpart, Peter Munya, and Nairobi Gubernatorial Aspirant, Richard Ngatia.
