Africa-PressKenya. A 2020 KCPE candidate who wanted to repeat class eight for lack of school fees to join form one has received multiple offers from leaders across the divide.

Diana Nyokabi, who scored a total of 401 marks in the national examination, had gone back to her former school, Bungoma D.E.B, to request for admission.

Soon after her story was highlighted, however, Nyokabi got multiple offers from a section of leaders in the country including, Lamu Governor Fahim Twaha, nominated senator Millicent Omanga, musician Akothee and Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi.

“I want to support this girl through her secondary education. Anyone kindly DM her contacts as soon as possible,” Omanga stated.

“The case of Diana Nyokabi has been brought to my attention but have since confirmed that the Governor has taken up the case and the girl will be enrolled in high school,” Wamunyinyi announced.

On her part, musician Akothee stated that her hands were currently full but rallied her supporters to support Nyokabi.

“This girl is bright and we can’t just allow her waste another year… My hands are full but this we can pull,” she commented.

Lamu Governor Twaha has already paid full year’s fees for the student. The money was given to Bungoma DEB headteacher Tobias Khisa who appealed for the help on behalf of Nyokabi.

Khisa had stated that he had a hard time enrolling Nyokabi back to the school after she pleaded with him to.

The top performer had gotten into the predicament after she was mysteriously removed from Wangamati’s scholarship list.

She scored 402 marks and was called to the Moi Girls School, Eldoret.

“I want to be a lawyer in future and I’m appealing to well wishers to make this dream a reality by helping me join form one,” she had pleaded.
