Africa-Press – Kenya. The national secondary schools’ football boys’ champions Ebwali Secondary are hoping to bounce back in a big on East Africa despite some of their players exiting this year.
Head coach Francis Muhembe said they have proper structures in place despite some of the players sitting for their Form Four examinations this year.
” We are back on the drawing board and we will not rest until we bring the East Africa trophy home,” he added.
The Western region heavyweights defeated Nairobi’s Highway Secondary 1-0 in a final staged at the Nakuru High last month to bag their maiden national trophy.
Muhembe said they will put everything in place to win the trophy regardless of their current financial situation.
The tactician was speaking during a thanksgiving mass at Ebwali ACK church over the weekend. Muhambe attributed their good run to the players’ disciplined and support from the school Principal Barack Nyanja.
