Africa-Press – Kenya. At just 24 years, eight months, and eight days old, Phil Foden achieved a significant milestone in his career by reaching 300 appearances for Manchester City.
“Recognised as a special talent early on, boyhood Blue Foden was part of City’s Academy for a decade as he progressed through the ranks,” City said in a statement.
“Already regarded by many as a City hero, it seems Foden still has a long career at the Etihad ahead of him,” it added.
The English right-winger’s second-half introduction at Leyton Orient was his 300th game for Manchester City.
Having lifted 17 major honors since his debut for Pep Guardiola’s side in November 2017, Foden helped the City win the UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, and six English Premier League titles.
He also added his collection of four League Cups and two FA Cups.
Foden was named PFA Players’ Player of the Year, FWA Footballer of the Year, Premier League Player of the Season, and Etihad Player of the Year.
