[PHOTOS] CS Ababu graces 10th Isambo festival at Che Bay Resort

Africa-Press – Kenya. Sports and Youth Affairs Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba on Sunday presided over the Isambo Beach festival, which took place on the shores of Lake Victoria at Che Bay Resort.

The festival, being Isambo’s season 10, was attended by thousands of people from across the country as well as foreigners.

It was done to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Abanyala Community.

Isambo, which is sponsored by the Ababu Namwamba Foundation, has over the time, proven to be not only a fun celebration but also an incredible platform for the community and attendees to showcase and unleash various potential talents and natural gifts.

The 2023 edition was marked with activities cutting across the sporting and the creative and entertainment realm.

The activities included the Isambo football extravaganza vigorously clashing grassroot teams, the Lake Victoria Road Race, boat-racing that tested pace, vision and stability in Lake Victoria’s raging waves as well as the fun eating competition.
