Africa-Press – Kenya. President William Ruto, on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, ushered in the new year in Eldoret at the Pamoja Concert, Eldoret Sports Club. President Ruto was accompanied by the First Lady Rachel Ruto, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, among other leaders.
The President and the leaders joined Kenyans in ushering in the New Year 2026. Before ushering in the New Year, the President delivered his New Year’s message to Kenyans. The night of December 31 was alive with song, fireworks and thanksgiving services.
Kenyans ushered in the New Year with colourful celebrations, prayers and renewed optimism, as families, friends and communities across the country marked the transition with joy and reflection.
