Africa-Press – Kenya. Kenya Pipeline outside hitter Pamela Adhiambo has been earmarked for a potential transfer to Rwandan clubs according to Rwandese sports journalist Numawanga Amos.

Adhiambo was instrumental as the oil merchants stormed to the Confederation of Africa Volleyball Zone Five Club Championship title in November last year, Rwanda, which also marked their debut in the regional competition.

According to the tweet dated December 31, 2023, Rwandese volleyball giants are eagerly eyeing Adhiambo for a potential move to their teams should negotiations materialize positively.

“Rwandan top volleyball women teams in the race to sign Kenyan powerful outside hitter machine #Pamela Adhiambo this season. Her contract will expire in March 2024 and she is ready to join #FRVBLeague anytime if the deal goes well,” read the tweet.

Adhiambo was instrumental as Pipeline won the Kenya Volleyball Federation League title in January 2023 after overcoming KCB in the title decider.

By winning the title last year, Pipeline reclaimed the gong they last won in 2017.

They also ended the season unbeaten, to mark a five-star performance from the Paul Gitau-coached side. Her performance saw the hard-hitting attacker win the Most Valuable Player award.
