Africa-Press – Kenya. President William Ruto on Tuesday met with the Chinese Ambassador to Kenya Zhou Pingjian at State House.
In a statement, Ruto said that the relationship between Kenya and China has provided access to the Chinese market.
“This relationship has provided access to the Chinese market for our agricultural exports like flowers, frozen avocados, hides and skins, while China has played a crucial role in the development of infrastructure in Kenya,” he said.
Ruto said that Kenya is committed to strengthening its mutually beneficial bilateral relations with China.
The President added that the bilateral ties will help in expanding trade and exploring areas of partnership between the two countries.
