Africa-Press – Kenya. President William Ruto has underscored Kenya’s strong ties with Israel, citing decades of cooperation in key sectors.
Ruto said Kenya and Israel share “strong, cordial and historical bilateral relations” in areas of mutual interest, including trade, security and agriculture.
The President made the remarks after meeting Israeli Ambassador to Kenya, Michael Lotem, at State House, Nairobi.
He said the talks focused on “more areas of collaboration” between the two countries as Kenya seeks to strengthen partnerships with global allies.
“Kenya and Israel have strong, cordial and historical bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest, including cooperation in trade, security and agriculture,” he tweeted.
The meeting reflects Nairobi’s push to build on existing ties that have seen Israel partner with Kenya in agriculture and security over the years.
