Africa-Press – Kenya. President William Ruto on Saturday launched the construction of the Sagana-Kathaka-Thigùkù Road at Thigùkù, Ndia Constituency
The head of state was accompanied by Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru, Majority Leader Kimani Ichungwah, Kirinyaga Woman Rep Njeri Maina among other leaders.
The President said quality roads mean efficient movement of people and goods and better access to commercial and social opportunities.
“We commit to continue sharpening our focus on the country’s infrastructure for sustainable growth.”
The road is 54-Kilometre Sagana-Thiguku, Mururi-Kiumbuini, Kirwara-Kagio and Karaini-Kangaita Roads in Ndia, Kirinyaga County.
