Africa-Press – Kenya. Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has said he will not compromise on matters pertaining security.

In a video seen by the Star, Sudi said bandits who are harassing people should start fleeing before they catch up with them.

“I have dedicated myself and nobody else will die. Matters of insecurity is not about Pokots, its about a few cartels and thugs. 95 per cent of the Pokots are nor even involved, even Baringo and Marakwet is the same thing,” he said.

Sudi warned politicians allegedly involved in funding bandits that their 40 days are coming to an end.

He called on those involved in banditry to return guns they own, before the law catches up with them.

“I want to tell the sponsors, if you are a politician and you know you are involved in shedding blood and the money is brought to you after cows are sold, prepare yourself because in this new administration, we will not tolerate that,” he said.

“Families will start sleeping in peace without fear of attack and children will go to school safe and sound because we are going to do away with insecurity and not allow any other person to loose life,” Sudi added.

On September 27, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua called a meeting with six governors from the counties affected by insecurity.

The counties include; West Pokot, Turkana, Samburu, Laikipia, Baringo and Elgeyo Marakwet.

The government has pledged to deal with banditry and all issues of insecurity in the country.
