Africa-PressKenya. President Uhuru Kenyatta arrived at the Turkish resort city of Antalya for a two-day official visit on Thursday evening, June 17.

A statement by State House indicated that the president was honouring an invitation extended to him by Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

On Friday, Kenyatta joined other Heads of State and Government at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) in Turkey.

There, he is scheduled to address the meeting which has been convened by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and attended by over ten visiting Heads of State and Government from across the world.

The ADF has brought together diplomatic actors from across the world among them political leaders, diplomats, opinion shapers and academician.

The leaders will discuss and fashion solutions to identified global challenges as well as identify opportunities for international collaboration.

The president, who is accompanied by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Raychelle Omamo, is scheduled to attend several other bilateral meetings and side events.

Early this month, the president also travelled to Ethiopia a one-day official visit.

Other than bilateral talks, the president witnessed the presentation of an operating license to the Safaricom consortium.

The license will help the consortium create 1.1 million jobs in 10 years and help the Country with a 4G service by 2023.
