Three companies have announced an impending auction of vehicles and other electronics in Nairobi, Kiambu, and Meru within the next 30 days.
Davis and Shirtliff Limited said that they will dispose of water pumps, generators, engines, and any other equipment that were brought to the company for repairs and were never collected.
The equipment shall be auctioned within the next 21 days to recover the repair and storage funds without any reference or engagement to the owner whatsoever.
Elsewhere, Makys Auctioneers have said that they will auction 14 bicycles and several motorcycles, within the next seven days, that are lying unclaimed at the Gatunga Police Yard, on behalf of the Igoji Police Station.
The motorcycle brands include a numberless captain, Ranger, Jincheng, Dayun, Fox, Highlon, and Tiger.
Makys further said that they will auction 6 bicycles, Dlight Tvs, TV, Wheelbarrows and motorbikes, including 4 which are burnt, which remain unclaimed within Tunyai Police Yard.
The motorcycle brands include Dayun and Captain. The items will be auctioned within the next 7 days on behalf of the Igoji Police stations.
“The public, owners, or custodians of various motorcycles and other miscellaneous goods currently lying idle and unclaimed within Tunyai Police Yard are notified to take delivery of the said items within seven (7) days from the date of this publication,” the auctioneer said.
Makys further said that they will auction other motorcycles lying unclaimed at the Makutano Police Yard within the next seven days.The motorcycles include Tiger, Honda, Skygo, Captain, Jianling, and Flyjet.
Lastly, the Unrivalled Auto Garage Limited has said that it will dispose of several vehicles, including Nissan, Toyota Corolla, Honda, Elgrand, and Mercedes Ambulance, which have been neglected by owners at the garage located in Thindigua.
If they remain unclaimed within the next 30 days, the vehicles shall be sold through public auction, tender, or private treaty.
“If you do not take delivery of the said goods within thirty (30) days from the date hereof and pay the charges as aforesaid, the said goods will be sold by public auction or tender or private treaty without further notice, and the proceeds thereof shall be defrayed against all charges and incidental costs,” the notice read.
