Africa-Press – Kenya. Former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairman Wafula Chebukati on Saturday celebrated his 62nd birthday.
In a statement on X, Chebukati thanked God for another year and wonderful times in the past year.
“I thank Almighty God for enabling me to celebrate my 62nd birthday with my loving family and friends. Wonderful times down memory lane,” he said.
Chebukati held a birthday party where his family and friends joined him for his big day.
Kenyans prayed for blessings and wished him well as he turned a year older.
Chebukati is the former IEBC chairman and was appointed to the position on a six-year tenure in January 2017 by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The former IEBC chairman retired on January 17 2023 following the end of his term.
