Africa-Press – Kenya. The Wiper Patriotic Front has announced that it will hold its National Delegates Congress (NDC) on October 10, 2025, at The Jockey Club, Ngong Racecourse in Nairobi, starting at 9:00 a.m.

The announcement was made through an official notice signed by the party’s Secretary General, Senator Shakila Abdalla.

The notice, dated September 10, 2025, outlines the agenda of the meeting and instructions for delegates.

According to the notice, the NDC has been convened in line with Article 3.5 of the Wiper Patriotic Front Constitution.

The article gives the party leader authority to convene and oversee the supreme governance body of the party. The National Executive Council (NEC) resolved to call the meeting during its sitting on August 26, 2025.

In the notice, the party emphasised that the NDC is necessary to deliberate on and adopt key issues that are “pivotal to the Party’s governance and strategic direction.”

The agenda of the Congress will focus on three items. Delegates will consider and adopt amendments to the Wiper Patriotic Front Constitution.

They will also review and approve reports from the National Executive Council. The final agenda item will be any other business brought before the Congress.

“All delegates are requested to be seated at the designated venue by 9:00 a.m. prompt,” the notice stated.

It further clarified that should there be any change of venue, an appropriate notice would be issued in a timely manner.

The party leadership underscored the importance of the gathering. The notice reads, “It is necessary to convene the National Delegates Congress meeting to deliberate on and adopt key agenda items pivotal to the Party’s governance and strategic direction.”

The NDC is the highest decision-making organ of the Wiper Patriotic Front. It brings together delegates from across the country to make critical decisions on policy, governance, and the party’s internal structures.
