Africa-Press – Lesotho. A Member of Parliament (MP) and also the Chairperson of Parliamentary Cluster on Prime Minister’s and Ministries Committee Mr. Rethabile Letlailana says he remains the Chairperson until he is procedurally voted out.
This, after a one of the MPs and member of this Committee Mr. Thuso Makhalanyane said they have appointed Matsieng Constituency MP Mr. Makotoko Moshe as the new Chairperson after they dismissed Letlailana as per standing order number 08, 96.2 and 111.
Mr. Letlailana confirmed that he received the dismissal letter but considers it null and void as it was done during the National Assembly’s independence break contrary to standing order number 96.1.
