On July 23 (Wednesday), Chef Ska served on a high-level panel addressing “The Sacredness and Gift of African Food.” Drawing from her deep understanding of Basotho culinary culture, she emphasized the importance of tradition, respect, and nourishment in sustaining African communities.
“African food is not just sustenance, it carries ancestral knowledge, spiritual richness, and cultural identity. Our duty is to honour that gift by preserving, celebrating, and sharing it with dignity,” she shared.
