Africa-Press – Lesotho. A delegation from the Lesotho Football Association on Sunday paid a courtesy call to Siwelele FC, on the sidelines of its match against Orbit College, where they were warmly welcomed by the Club Chairman Mr Calvin Le John as well as Public Relations Manager Mr Moabi Mohono.

With the rich history between the two entities, the meeting discussed possibly areas of collaboration such as hosting the club in the country during pre-season, exchange programs and many more.

The LeFA delegation was made of Communication and Stakeholders Manager Mr Mikia Kalati, National Teams Cordinator Mr Mahlake Phulane and Likuena coach Mr Bob Mafoso.

The Free State Province has been a home to many of Lesotho footballers over the years such as legends like Ambrose “Lekoaitos” Lesala, Ronald “Ronnie Malefetse, Tšeliso “Frisco” Khomari, Lehlohonolo Seema, Lebajoa Mphongoa, late duo of Tšeliso Thite and Motlatsi Shale and in recent years years Motebang Sera and Thabo Makhele as well as female footballer in the likes of Boitumelo Rabale, Mosili Mots’oeneng and Lits’eoane Maloro.

Several coaches from the Free State from the late legendary ntate April “Styles” Phumo and James Madidilane have also left the Bloemfontein to come and make a name for themselves in the Kingdom.
