Africa-Press – Lesotho. The Peace Education Foundation (DPE) hosted 12 men and women from the various districts for a day-to-day workshop on self-improvement and bottling baths during the outbreak of the virus.

of Corona. Mr Lemohang Molibeli from the Peace Education Foundation explained that they have teamed up with Local Government Councils to select people who will be part of the training.

Molibeli said the expectation is that after this training, in their communities there will be baths in every home. “If it is said that you have failed, at least in places where the public gathers we should see the bottles made by you after this training,” he said.

He went on to say that in the same way, people who are going to be trained in sewing are expected to produce in large quantities and that they are the ones who are leading the process.

He explained that there was no reason for people to leave their villages and go to other cities or cities to buy spices. “They found the scorpions right there in your home,” he said.

He reminded that the government had advised the public to stop unnecessary travel and that these items, if necessary, should be produced within their own communities. Molibeli said the expectation is that once they have worked with them after the training, they will go and practice building others.

He also explained that after the training, what the Association will do is to support the participants by providing training to start the process until they can find a way to find another one.

He said sniffers would be given cloths while those in the bathrooms would be given bottles. He said the plan was to make the project more affordable for them.

Ms. ‘Mabulara Saturday from the Red Cross has confirmed that the DPE is providing this training so that students can help the community in their communities.

“So you are here with the hands of the DPE,” he insisted. Mokqelo points out that through their ‘co-operation, the work will be successful’ and the community living in their constituencies will be helped.

He pointed out that as the Red Cross, they have embarked on a campaign to provide community-based development services in this time of the Corona virus epidemic which has brought many challenges to people’s lives.

He said they also provide training on good hygiene. Ms ‘Matshepo Makolometse, one of the participants in the workshop said she was very proud to be a part of this course.

He said as a staff member, he was satisfied with the benefits of the training which he would pass on to the community. “I will be able to explain to them the importance of these perfumes as well as the importance of maintaining good hygiene by washing your hands often,” he said.

He added that as soon as the schools reopened, they would be able to sell the toilets and sell them to schoolchildren for protection and return to classes.
