Africa-Press – Lesotho. A 10-man Spain secured an easy 4-1 win against Switzerland in the Nations League on Sunday.
Spain opened the scoring with Joselu in the fourth minute while Fabian Ruiz scored twice in the 13th and 77th minutes at Geneva’s Stade de Geneve.
Ferran Torres added another one for the Spaniards in the 80th minute and the Swiss side’s only goal came from Zeki Amdouni in the 41st minute.
In the 20th minute, Robin Le Normand received a red card after an aggressive tackle on Breel Embolo.
Denmark are atop Group A4 with six points, Spain are second with four points and Serbia are third with one point.
Switzerland are at the bottom of the table without a point.
Portugal defeat Scotland
Portugal beat Scotland 2-1 as Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo produced goals for the winning side.
Scott McTominay netted for the Scottish team, but it was not enough to win at Estadio do SL Benfica in Lisbon.
In Group A1, first-place Portugal won both their games with six points, ahead of Croatia and Poland, who each collected three points.
With two defeats, Scotland are fourth in the table without a point.
