Africa-Press – Lesotho. World Vision Lesotho has donated masks to Christian Council of Lesotho (CCL) to honour their efforts in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. On behalf of the management, World Vision Lesotho Faith and Development Lead Mohau
Moeketsi mentioned that they have donated 200, 000 masks to CCL for the wonderful gesture and efforts, even corporation during the Covid-19 outbreak. He
also mentioned that they are very delighted to be part of the people who have taken their time to care for the well-being of Basotho, saying as a child and
community based organization, they hope the donations will reach communities and churches, especially where there are many children. “Our core mandate states that we are a global Christian humanitarian organization
that partners with children, families and their communities to help them reach their full potential. It makes us very happy if children learn and know God
fully. CCL is doing a good job by teaching and preaching to communities about God, by that helping us to achieve our goal. We believe that this job will also
go hand in hand with providing protection for young boys and girls as well as their communities,” he stated. On behalf of CCL and Heads of Churches, Reverend Tanki Mofana said this gesture is
a true testimony that World Vision Lesotho has also played a role in the fight against Covid-19. He reassured that they will indeed be distributed among the communities to serve the purpose.
