Africa-Press – Lesotho. The winner of the ninth season of idols South Africa 2013; Musa Sukwene, famously known as ‘Musa’ took a time out of his schedule to visit Lesotho recently, raising awareness on his newly released self-entitled album ‘Musa’.
During his visit, Musa connected with his fans and visited local media platforms spreading the word regarding his new album that was released three weeks ago.
Speaking to the Informative Arts & Lifestyle, the Mthande hit maker revealed that the first and the last time he came to Lesotho was back in 2016 when he came to perform at the Ultimate Music Awards.
He says it was at this event whereby Basotho showed immense love for his work. Something which he said made him remember and consider revisiting the country.
He however emphasized that he would still love to come back to Lesotho in the future and perform live on his own show as a way to connect better with a good number of his local fans.
In description of his new project, Musa said it is a 12 tracks album build on love content 100%. In one of the songs entitled; ‘Bophelo’, he features Lesotho’s legend; Ntate Tšepo Tshola.
He emphasized that it is his 3rd album and the first he produced himself. Something which he referred to as a risk that paid off. “This is the first album that I have produced for myself.
Of course it was a risk but it really paid off as this album is really beautifully produced. It has been well received and it is highly in demand,” said Musa going on to cite that the album is available on digital stores and all local music shops.
He went on to thank Basotho for their continued support and love. He urged them to keep supporting him and promised to always provide nothing but good music for their ears.
