Africa-Press – Lesotho. A total of 440 000 Basotho are expected receive the Covid vaccine from April 2021, Prime Minister Dr Moeketsi Majoro has said. The vaccine is a donation from Covax Facility to Lesotho as a boost for the global response to Covid-19.
Majoro announced in his speech today that to add on to the vaccine that will be donated by Covax, the government will set aside M240 million to buy the vaccine that is expected to help 1 million up to 1.5 million Basotho beat Covid-19.
