Africa-Press – Lesotho. Amid reports that the senior partner of the current coalition government of Lesotho, the All Basotho Convention (ABC) has written to the Speaker of the National Assembly, Sephiri Motinyane, informing him of its intent to withdraw from the coalition Motanyane this morning suspended proceedings in the august House.
The Speaker informed the members that he had just received correspondence whose content he will discuss later, which forces him to defer proceedings and to meet with the leaders of political parties represented in the House before resuming the day’s work.
‘I don’t know how long this will take but I don’t expect it to be more than an hour,’ Motanyane said when suspending proceedings at 9:00am.
