Africa-Press – Lesotho. The excitement for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is reaching fever pitch, with organizers confirming that 137,250 tickets have already been sold since the ticket office officially opened.
Out of the 400,000 tickets released in this first phase, the impressive sales mark a strong start — accounting for nearly one-third of the total tickets available for all tournament matches. Fans across the continent are clearly eager to be part of Africa’s biggest football spectacle.
According to the organizing committee, two additional phases of ticket sales are planned to ensure fair distribution and accessibility for supporters:
Phase Two: Begins on October 25, opening up the second batch of tickets.
Phase Three: Starts on November 25, marking the final opportunity for fans to secure their seats.
With such rapid sales in the opening phase, expectations are high that the remaining tickets will also sell out swiftly. The AFCON 2025 promises not only thrilling football action but also record-breaking fan enthusiasm across Africa.
