Africa-Press – Lesotho. Monaheng Ramashamole( 49) Lira Selebalo( 49) Rafaele Ramashamole( 22) Rabati Ramashamole( 22) Polilane Au (51) of Makhaleng Ha Simione in the district of Maseru appeared before Magistrate Motlatsi Kolisang charged with aggravated assault.
On count 1, the accused are charged with contravening the provisions of Section 31(1) and (2)(a)and (b) read with section 109 of the penal code Act no.6 of 2010.
The said accused on June 03 2024 at Makhaleng Ha Simione in the district of Maseru, all of them acting together in the furtherance of common purpose did unlawfully and intentionally assault Tankiso Lebajoa with the intention of causing him serious injuries or any form of lasting physical disablement.
The accused hit him with fighting sticks on his head and body, stabbed him with a knife on his hand, cuffed him with hand cuffs and also hit him with a mini sword.
On count 2, the said accused on June 03 2024 at Makhaleng Ha Simione in the district of Maseru, all of them acting together in the furtherance of a common purpose did unlawfully and intentionally assault Polao Lebajoa with the intention of causing him serious injuries or any form of lasting physical disablement.
