Africa-PressLesotho. Founder of Sky Adventures, Mr Christian Schmidt yesterday announced that their annual team building event; corporate challenge has been sold to another marketing and events agency, Black Mix Lesotho at the handing over ceremony held at in Maseru.

Corporate challenge is an annual team building event that is designed to promote fitness, health and networking opportunities among cooperates in a relaxed environment.

According to Schmidt, Black Mix Lesotho and Sky Adventures formed a corporate challenge partnership last year. He said it was through that partnership that his company felt comfortable to leave the event in the ‘capable hands’ of Black Mix Lesotho.

“The sale of corporate challenge to Black Mix Lesotho comes from the decision to focus on events outside Maseru by SKY Adventures and the trust build between the two companies” said Schmidt going on to mention that they (His company) are now venturing into developing events outside Maseru, thus the sale.

Meanwhile, Black Mix’s CEO Manisha said they saw the purchase of the initiative as an opportunity to expand their brand and business; “as this is the biggest team-building event to ever hit the mountain kingdom and saw the potential to make it even bigger,” she said.

“We are so excited to be given this opportunity as we were also part of the event last year. Corporate challenge grew so much on us that we felt like Black Mix and Sky Adventures were one body.

The relationship between companies does not end here, this is only the beginning,” she emphasized. According to Manisha, since its inception in 2013, the corporate challenge has grown from 300 to almost 600 participants from over 50 different organizations in Lesotho.

This year she said they have decided to “strictly” limit entries to a maximum of 500 participants. “The rationale behind this decision is to grow the event in quality rather than quantity.

Participants can expect new improved games and challenges, a valuable goodie bag and quality event t-shirt,” she cited. She went on to announce that this years’ cooperate challenge is scheduled for August 17, 2018.
