Africa-Press – Lesotho. Naleli born Hip hop artists Motlatsi Chabana known as (Blak Ink) and his brother Refiloehape Chabana, also known as (Jyzle RightNow) have released an extended play (EP) titled ‘Family business’.
Blak Ink revealed that they have been working together on this project with his brother and therefore praised their work that was successful despite the challenges.
He solemnly announced that though it has a distinct compilation, the EP now serves as a tribute to their late mother, who passed on the same day it was released, October 29.
“It will always serve as her memorial,” he said. He said it contains 13 tracks inclusive of a single
they dropped in March 2020 called ‘Good feeling’. He disclosed that they were assisted by producers from South Africa (SA) and Lesotho, the likes of BeatHolic Muzik, Breatheslow music,
Mustar, Pacer and Hermit Sage. “We intent to expand the Family over everything (F. O. E) brand and make it known even across the border, hence our extended
collaboration. He further showed that for a while now, they have been producing in SA where they made connections with music producers. The intrigued youngster
said there was delay in releasing ‘Family Business’ due to closure of borders due to COVID-19 as they do most of their productions in SA. Blak Ink ventured into the music industry back in 2012 and later
co- founded F. O. E music group. On some of the projects in the pipeline, he conveyed that they are jointly working on their second music video called ‘Chain smoking’
which is anticipated to be released in December 2020. Also he showed that they will host a music and dance show on November 28 to reconnect with their fans.
