The journey began when founders Matthew Levington and Rod Davies, met up in January 2004 to have some drinks in the United Kingdom, and discovered that they shared a passion for business support.
Having witnessed some very poor business support service being provided by both big consultancies and small independents over the years, Matthew and Rod were inspired to create something different that resonated with the market and added real value to small and medium sized businesses.
Wasting no time, the duo established Business Doctors with the aim of providing business support services to Small and Medium Enterprises market, later they realized that methodologies add value to large enterprises as well.
In 2014, Business Doctors expanded into South Africa. In 2016 alone Business Doctors was launched in India, Malta and Ireland. More countries like Italy, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and US have also followed the suite.
In 2019 Business Doctors South Africa expanded to Lesotho as part of increasing its footprint in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region. This was an addition to Eswatini, Botswana and Zambia in the region to mention but few.
Business Doctors Lesotho (BDL) office is fully functional and has started to offer professional business services to various types and sizes of enterprises in Lesotho.
HOW WE DO IT
We use best practice frameworks, diagnostic tools and world class systems to optimize and grow businesses through hands-on support. Some of our unique systems are Business Builder, Growth Accelerator, Resource Profiler (HR), Strategy Builder, Access to Market and Turnaround Strategiser.
We do not coach from a distance, instead we actually walk the talk with you. We pride ourselves that we make use of well tested business methodologies out of which many enterprises in other countries have reaped benefits. BDL business solutions fit well in the context of micro, small, medium enterprises and corporates in Lesotho.
Having said that, Business Doctors Lesotho is looking forward to work hand in hand with other business support stakeholders in the country, funders and donors from nonprofit making to profit making to empower entrepreneurs and boost sustainable business ecosystem of Lesotho.
