struggle with marketing strategies. He said it offers both traditional and digital marketing services. “Looking at the world today, we are in the era of the 4th
Industrial Revolution which is all about technology and robotics,” he said. Maema said Global Cab Service intentions is to help Basotho owned cabs with
marketing, especially during this period of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and such cars must be registered with Global Marketing Agency to access their services.
He stated that the public can access services from the platform for free. “The platform can be accessed by dialing *130*135# to request for a cab, without
using airtime or data. The only service a passenger pays is the cab fee when they reach their destination,” he clarified. He said the system is also user
friendly as it accommodates all phone users without smart demands. Again, the system is intended to mitigate travelers’ struggle with airtime bills at the
needy hour for a cab service. The Global Marketing Agency Chief Financing Officer (CFO) Bokang Motšoari pointed that some countries like Kenya have developed the same application.
He added Lesotho also has to move from the old traditional methods and adapt to this new system. “Above all, we need to ensure that the cab delivers the passenger to their place of destination safely hence our system is also able to trace the cab to ensure the safety of passengers,” he added.
