With a total prize pool of 32 million dollars, the upcoming tournament will not only celebrate the continent’s finest football talent but also mark a significant financial boost for participating nations.
The eventual champions of Africa will walk away with 7 million dollars, while the runners-up will earn 4 million dollars, underscoring the rising commercial and competitive value of the competition.
CAF has also structured incentives for teams advancing through the various stages:
• Quarter-finalists will each receive 1.3 million dollars
• Round of 16 teams will earn 800,000 dollars
• Teams finishing third in their group will take home 700,000 dollars
• Fourth-placed teams in the group stages will secure 500,000 dollars
