Africa-Press – Lesotho. Chelsea have pulled the plug on Nicolas Jackson’s proposed loan move to Bayern Munich, leaving the striker frustrated and uncertain about his immediate future.
The Blues had agreed terms with Bayern on an initial one-season loan, but following Liam Delap’s hamstring injury, Chelsea reversed their stance, insisting they cannot afford to weaken their forward options at such a critical time in the campaign.
Sources close to Jackson revealed the 23-year-old is angry with the sudden U-turn, having already prepared himself for a move to Bavaria where he would have been a central figure under Vincent Kompany.
Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl confirmed the deal is now on ice, saying:
