Cold weather conditions are expected in Central South Africa for this weekend and the first half of next week.
The South African Weather Service’s Michael Nethavhani says minimum temperatures are below zero with the Free State at minus two.
He says as a result the province is experiencing morning frost.
Nethavhani says the southern parts of the Free State gets about minus four with temperatures below zero alongside the Lesotho boarder. He warns visibility in the morning in large parts of the eastern Free State is not good.
He adds that it gets partly cloudy in the afternoons, but temperatures are still cold.
Nethavhani says minimum temperatures in the southern parts of the Northern Cape gets below zero whilst the rest of the province only experiences cooler conditions.
