Africa-Press – Lesotho. The High Court through Justice Mabats’oeneng Hlaele has on Tuesday dismissed an application for recusal by Thabiso Lekitla, a Member of Parliament for Mekaling, who is standing trial for murder.
In her judgment, the presiding judge who was asked to recuse herself stated that a reasonably informed person will not entertain a reasonable apprehension of bias flowing from the proceedings of September 02-03 2024. She ordered that the case will continue on dates to be selected adding that she will be presiding over the proceedings.
