Africa-Press – Lesotho. The Labour Court of Lesotho has on Friday issued an interim order preventing the Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL) and its Board from dismissing Mrs. ‘Mathabo Mokoko, the Commissioner General whose contract was terminated earlier on the same day.

The court has ordered that the respondent (RSL and Board) in the matter be restrained and interdicted from dismissing, threatening to dismiss pending the outcome of this application.

It added that the respondents may not dismiss the applicant without following the due process of a disciplinary hearing required by the contract of employment in terms of clauses 12 and 13 (c) of annexure MM1.

It also directed respondents to pay costs of this application, adding that a notice be given to the respondents to come and show cause why both the interim and the final orders in paragraph 63 (a) to (e) shall not be granted.
