Africa-Press – Lesotho. Toka Chereh Mohaeka known as CS Chereh Sputswe in the music circles has released his first studio album Puleng. CS Chereh Sputswe a versatile musician,

vocalist, rapper, song writer and producer grew up in Mahobong in the district of Leribe and moved to Rustenburg in South Africa (SA) when he was a teenager.

According to Mohaeka he never even dreamt that one day he will be a fully-fledged musician, “I became a musician by coincidence,” he said. He said he grew up playing soccer representing the Phokeng region in Rustenburg, adding

that his music journey started when he returned to Lesotho. “My friends were recording a song and they ran out of verses coincidentally I was there and they

asked me to put a verse and that’s how my musical journey started,’ he said. He further noted that Puleng is an album with 23 songs and is produced by CS magic at Mavia Studios and marketed

by Roomane inc under D’kokotane music. “Puleng is the name of my late mother and this album is dedicated to all the mothers around the world specifically my

mother,” he added. The album caters for both young and old generations. He also highlighted that his music is called kokotane music meaning something of value or everlasting music.

He has established himself as a man with a velvet voice and his CS signature is heard on all his tracks as (ke CS akere) that distinguish his work from any other person.
